Kyuramen is a premier Japanese dining destination known for its authentic flavors, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help maintain our high standards of service and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and support restaurant staff to uphold high-quality service standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are met at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling, sales reports, and cost control.
- Work with the kitchen and service teams to maintain efficiency and consistency in food quality.
- Assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
- Help implement marketing and promotional activities to boost sales.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in the restaurant industry (Japanese restaurant experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette is preferred.
- Basic understanding of restaurant financials, such as budgeting and cost control.
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
